Launch of UWOPA Strategic Plan 2022-2026 On 3rd Feb 2023

On 3rd February 2023 UWOPA Launched its Strategic Plan 2022-2026 entitled ' WOMEN'S AGENDA, OUR MANDATE' at Imperial Royale Hotel. The Guest of Honour was the Vice President of Uganda Hon Jessica Alupo who was represented by the 3rd Deputy Prime Minister Hon Nakadama Isanga Lukia in launching the strategic plan. Minster of Gender, Labour and Social Development Hon Betty Amongi and Minster of State for Gender, Culture Hon Peace Regis Mutuuzo and the UNWomen Country Representative Miss Paulina Chiwangu were also in attendence to witness the launch of the Strategic Plan.

On 26th November, 2024 UWOPA together with the Domestic Violence Act Coalition & members of Parliament launched the 16 Days of Activism against GBV.
