A meeting organized by NAWOU to influence gender equality and address issues of GBV.

On 24th of March 2023, NAWOU conducted a follow-up meeting on the implementation of the commitments and strategies that were agreed upon in the previous meeting. The aim is to build an alliance that will work together in a multi sectoral approach to achieve gender equality. The invited guests were UWOPA members, ministry of Gender Labour and Social Development and the Gender committee of Parliament.

On 26th November, 2024 UWOPA together with the Domestic Violence Act Coalition & members of Parliament launched the 16 Days of Activism against GBV.

On the 29th November, 2023 UWOPA Vice Chairperson Hon Brenda joined other partners to commemorate 16DaysofActivismAgainstGBV on women & girls by matching through Namuwongo town the Chief Guest was Hon. Hajjati Kabanda Minister for Kampala City.
