UN reports show that many countries are still promulgating laws that discriminate against women or do not factor in the unique situations of women and girls.

The training aimed at equipping the MPs with skills to promulgate laws that are gender sensitive.

The training covered topics like the intersection between culture, religion, gender and the law, the tools, strategies for gender sensitize law making.
