UWOPA with funding from EASSI, FIDA, CEHURD and Joy for Children organised a technical retreat to consulate with key stakeholders on the sexual offences Bill. The stakeholders in attendance were ODPP-UGANDA, ULRC, MoGLSD, MoJCA, Uganda law society, UPFC and MoH.
The bill is crucial to offering legal protection to survivors and those at risk of sexual violence including children being protected from sexual abuses.
