UN Women organized a panel of powerful women in elections to share key updates & strategies for 2026. The day featured insightful discussion on women in elections, government coordination, and setting priorities for 2025 and, to align with NDPIII/NDPIV & also focus on MoGLSD priorities to advance gender equality & human capital development.
Chairperson, argued partners to engage with government to ensure peaceful elections by preventing army & police interference. In other countries, violence leads to automatic disqualification as a candidate.
